Nan is the author and illustrator of five popular children's books. She was born at Swan Hill, Victoria, and grew up on a farm beside the Murray River.
She studied Art in Melbourne and has worked as an art teacher, medical artist and designer.
She and her husband Brian live beside the beach on the Bellarine Peninsula in southern Australia.
